SARAWAK BLOGGER

I sent an application to Sarawak Bloggers last week and yesterday, I finally obtained the approval e-mail stating that I am officially...

SARAWAK BLOGGER!!!

Seriously, I seldom join this "state group" kind of thing coz I believe that I am a Malaysian and I should be able to fit anywhere in Malaysia.

Surprisingly, I have more friends from West Malaysia than friends in Borneo. In fact, when I was in Labuan matriculation College, I mixed around with West Malaysian rather than East Malaysian.

Some of my friends called me, 'Sarawak Murtad' coz my way of speaking is not accented with my Sarawakian language. Moreover, when I first came to Penang, some of my friends were asking me whether I truly am originated from Sarawak coz they found me having no trouble speaking their Malay language.

Well, nothing to be proud of myself. But I am truly proud of being a Sarawakian. Personally, I also feel that race difference is not really a problem in Sarawak. When I was in Saint Patrick Primary School, I have all kinds of friends from different races. There are Ibanss, Bidayuh, Melanau, Chinese, Malays, Kenyah, and even Punjabi. So, living with the other races should not be a big problem for a Sarawakian.

To my Sarawakian friends, visit http://sarawak-bloggers.org and apply yourself to be a Sarawakian bloggers. Who knows you could be featured as "Blogger of The Month"?

(p/s: I miss Sarawak!!!)

BUT YOU... MY MUNCET.

Dear Muncet...

When I first met you, I wasn't sure whether to pursue a relationship with you. It's complicated and difficult to explain.

But YOU, made things seem so easy. You showed me the path and led me to it.

When we were together, I feel insecure and restless.

But YOU, change the way I feel with your love and smile.

When I have a bad day. Like the world is going to end.

But YOU, never give up until I smile and laugh. You always said, "It's ok, I'm here"

And...

...when YOU are around me, you're the heaven on this earth.

Whatever it takes... I'll always be with you. Forever...

(p/s: I'm not sure whether you realise it or not but this song became your ringtone whenever you call me. I took chances when I met you and I didn't regret it at all..)

SABAH: THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!

I was calling my mum this morning. Kinda miss her actually. So, I was asking her where's everyone and what are they up to today.

Mum: Your sisters went out to pick up your father at the airport.

Me: What?! Dad's coming over to Kuching too!!! So everyone is there now!!!

My heart was saying, "WTF!!! I wanna be there!!!"

My mum and my youngest sister are currently in Kuching. They're staying over in my sister's house. And my sister who works in Sibu, also came over to visit. (Can you guys understand coz I have like five sisters and sometimes, it's hard to explain to people which one is which??)

Seriously I feel like a LOSER coz i'm the only one who's not there. All of my friends went home for the holiday and I'm the only one here.

I was super bored when I found these pictures. It was pictures from last year's holiday in Sabah. I went there with my parents and one of my sisters.

It was fun. Super fun coz I went there right after my final exam!!!

The Mount Kinabalu. Isn't it magnificent!!!

This place is called "Philipines Bazaar".

A shot taken from our hotel's room. Sabah is definitely beautiful!!!

This is taken somewhere in Jesselton Point. You can see how beautiful the water is.

Jesselton Point

This was taken from Manukan Island. Isn't this picture look familiar to you?

My third elder sister. She's the one who pays for everything.

Mak!!! I miss you!!!

Dad's birthday less than a week now. He was born on January 1, 1950. He's a new baby. (not anymore la..)

I love this picture!!! It's me and my parents. Muuuuaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!

(p/s: Next year I'm planning to go to Bandung. Anyone???)

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES CONDEMNED BELLA FROM TWILIGHT???

I was online a few weeks ago when my friend, Sharm OnIce posted this on her Facebook wall.

I've known Sharm for quite some time now but we never really speak to each other. However, we started talking when she posted Damon Salvatore's quote on her wall.

I'm not sure how many of you guys watch The Vampire Diaries but the reason that I start watching this series is because of this quote.

You can find the video HERE. (too bad embedded is disabled..Sorry guys..)

Seriously, I start hating Twilight after watching Eclipse. Even some of my friends did the same thing. Bella become one kind of a b*tch in Eclipse.

And the worse part of all is Jacob endlessly begged for Bella's love. Yucks!!!

Aren't they gorgeous???

The Vampire Diaries has hit its Season Two this year and if you start watching it, you'll be craving for more coz it has an exciting storyline with lots of suspense and surprise.

You'll find hot vampires here as well. Hahahaha...

My friends said this one picture looks gay-ish. I said, "No comment."

For those who are very much in love with Edward Cullen. Let's compare Damon Salvatore and Edward Cullen here.

Girls out there, WHO'S HOTTER???

Damon or Edward???

(p/s: A bit late of posting my entry today. I went for jogging again. )

I REGRET DONATING BLOOD

I've been watching Grey's Anatomy for quite some time now and I've seen many deaths occurred in surgeries due to complications.

One of the most crucial "item" in surgery is blood.

I bet none of you guys watch this series.

So, knowing how crucial blood is, I went to one of the hospitals in Penang to donate blood.

I went to the hospital hoping that one day it could save a life. Furthermore, this hospital provides you with blood test that will help you to know whether you have diseases such as HIV or syphilis. They even send the result of blood test to your home.

So far, I'm CLEAN!!!

This is the blood bank. Kinda reminds me of The Vampire Diaries where vampires would steal blood from the blood bank.

My happy face... which turned sour later...

I was so happy to donate my blood that day when everything went upside down. The lady in-charge of me was not sure how to poke me.

I requested her to poke me on my left arm. But she couldn't find any vein and asked to poke on the other arm. So I let her poke my right arm and the same thing happened.

Seriously, I should be mad at her poking me like an animal but I didn't coz I was so happy thinking about something else.

At last, she gave up saying that I should come another day to donate blood.

And I was like... WTF!!!!

This is my first arm.

Just wanna show that I actually laid on that bed. Hehehehe...

I woke up one morning and was surprised!!! The placed where I was poked on both arms turned blue.

My left arm...

My right arm is way worse. Previously, it was swollen and now it turned blue.

(p/s: Next week, I'm going to General Hospital. Better give my blood to public hospital as well..)

AMAZING PHOTOSHOP CS3

I was offline for the weekend. I was busy doing things on my own and I wanna take my mind off from blogging.

My sincere apology for those who came to visit my blog and even commented to  my entries. I promise your comments will be replied right away.

So, I spent my time exploring a few blogs with Photoshop CS3 tutorial. So far, I'm only familiar with Photoscape software but this software has not done much miracle compared to Photoshop CS3.

This is the amazing blog (http://kcdphoto.blogspot.com) that I use to learn about Photoshop. It is written in English and the instruction is very crystal-clear. The best part of all is he's a Sarawakian!!!

AGI IDUP AGI NGELABAN!!!

Below are some examples of the photos that I have edited. The main focus is to "wipe out" the unclear skin, moles or any skin irritation that exist in a photo. Apart from that is to restore the natural look of your skin.

This is the first photo that I did. I think for the "After" photo, I have overdone its colour coz he looks too "yellow-ish" instead of looking natural. As you can see, the skin is clearer with no blemish. By the way, he looks fairer right?

This is my sister's photo. I think it is a perfect subject as you can see that there are a few dark spots on my sister's face. For the skin colour, nothing much is done coz she's already fair and her skin colour looks pretty natural. I removed the dark spots on her face.

For the last picture, nothing much is done on his face. It was easy coz the photo was taken on a daylight.

If you're interested in learning these tricks, check out KCD Photo.

For my photos, I have used these tutorials.

1. Restore natural skin colour  - LINK

2. My passport photo - LINK

Give it a try and you'll like it!!!

(p/s: KCD Photo was the featured blog for Sarawak Blogger. Impressive!!!)

SHOCKING!!! A MALAY GUY CONFESSED THAT HE IS A GAY!!!

It's a boring Friday and I was browsing the net when I found a video about a Malay guy named Azwan Ismail confessing that he is GAY!!!

Then, I did some digging when I found another video from a Chinese guy confessing that he is gay as well.

These are the videos:

"Saya Azwan Ismail, umur saya 32 tahun.Saya telah mengambil masa yang agak lama untuk mengenali diri saya, untuk meyakini diri saya bahawa saya seorang GAY."

"Growing up was a bit harder. I grow up in KL and went to La Salle PJ. If you know La Salle PJ, it's an all boy school and I knew that I was not quite the same as everyone else."

These videos was launched by Seksualiti Merdeka and believe it or not, Seksualiti Merdeka has been around since August 2008. You can read more about Seksualiti Merdeka HERE.

They also have a blog and seriously, Seksualiti Merdeka can be considered as "big" organisation as they fight for rights and freedom.

(Check out http://www.seksualitimerdeka.org)

Back to Azwan Ismail, honestly, I don't think that confessing that you are a gay would make any difference in Malaysia. He will have to go through a tremendous challenges and criticisms after this. Furthermore, he is a Muslim and a Malay. I respect her bravery to come out of the "closet" but seriously, it's gonna cause him a lot of troubles. I believe that before he did this, he has thought about it over and over again.

(p/s: This is the first case ever in Malaysia. I pity his family coz they are the ones who will be blamed.)

NARNIA 3 VERSUS HANTU KAK LIMAH BALIK RUMAH

Since it's my semester break, I have a lot of time to waste and seriously, I enjoy wasting it.

My holiday is less than three weeks, so I decided to spend it.

I went to Queensbay Mall to watch "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage & The Dawn Treader" and "Hantu Kak Limah Balik Kampung."

Both stories are superb but let's review it.

Narnia 3 brings a new dimension from the previous Narnia. Seriously, this one is much more exciting as they sail all around the world in order to fight evil. However, Susan and Peter are not shown much in the third movie. I am actually hoping to see four of them to be together again. Too bad though!!!

I love this part!!! The blue star is a beautiful princess!!!

As for "Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah", it can be considered as the sequel for "Zombie Kampung Pisang". I found this movie worth watching as I laughed throughout the movie. In fact, the comedy shown is not slapstick. It was a real one. Hahahahaha... I think the Chinese or Indian or other races should watch this movie.

This is one of the best scenes in this movie.

RATING

The Chronicles of Narnia: 4/5

Hantu Kak Limah Balik Kampung: 5/5

(p/s: Looking forward for Gulliver's Travel and Tron.)

SERIOUSLY, I HOPE A CAR WOULD RUN INTO ME!!!

Seriously, I did hope that a car would run into me this morning but for now, I've changed my mind.

Today is a tiring day coz I have to move my things out from my old hostel to a new one.

Doing it alone, you know how tiring it could be.

Before moving things out, let's take a picture first. Hahahahaha...

This is how it looked like when I moved everything out. My roommate left earlier than me. I like this room coz it's spacious and the furniture is new.

Good bye to Pinang 316. I hope you get better people to take care of you.

I put all my stuffs outside. So, I don't have to go in and out of the room. These are some of my things.

This is the other half. The brown box and the bag are my worst enemies coz they were sooooo heavy to carry them down.

I lived on top floor of this building. And imagine how I brought all my things down to the yellow arrow. I could shed some weights if this thing happens everyday.

My new hostel. WELCOME TO CIKU!!!

Finally!!! I managed to move things to the Ciku's storeroom. It's a great satisfaction!!! Yeay!!!

(p/s: Now, I'm sitting in J. Co somewhere in Queensbay Mall and having great donuts!!! You want some???)

PENANG GAY FEST???!!!

FIRST INCIDENT

I was talking about how wonderful Penang is and I mentioned one of the events that will take place this weekend.

My roommate was busy packing his stuff when I was talking to him but he suddenly turned to me when I mentioned the "event."

"What?! A gay fest in Penang? You gotta be kidding me!!!"

OMG!! And I replied:

"It's Chingay Fest not GAY FEST!!! Next time listen properly ok?"

End of the first incident.

SECOND INCIDENT

An old friend suddenly popped up through Facebook chat. He informed me that he has just reached Penang.

This is our coversation:

Me: Dok cni sampai bila?

Fren: xtau lg. ngee~~

Me: stay la lama ckit. Weekend ni penang byk event.

Fren: Yeke?

Me: Ada Chingay, Suarasa. Pesta bunga pun dah start

Fren: Chingay?? Apa kah? Bnyi mcm best. Wahahahha..

Me: Yang main palang tu la.. Bukan gay

Fren: Nnt ko bawak aku ek. Hehehehehe....

Me: Aiyo...

End of second incident.

******

It's funny to see how ignorant some of my friends are.

Both of my friends have been staying in Peninsular Malaysia since they were born here.

Compared to me who have been in Penang for only five years coz I was born in Sarawak.

This weeked is gonna be a superb weekend. Many events will be held in Penang.

But I have nobody to go with.

Anyone to accompany me?

The official poster for Chigay Fest Penang 2010.

Does this look gay-ish? I wonder how they do it...

Suarasa TV9 that will be held around Queensbay Mall this weekend.

One of my friends managed to get through the MTest and like others, will be having his interview today.

To my very best friend:

MOHAMAD AZRUL BIN ABU BAKAR

Good luck to you and I hope you will have a wonderful interview session. Be calm and don't panic coz there's nothing to be panicked about. I believe that you can do it and I have great faith in you. You are gonna be a wonderful teacher to your students. If you succeed with this interview, forget me not okay? May God bless you dear.

(p/s: It reminds me about my interview.)
