Bila tengok gambar tu, aku teringat dengan sajak, "The Road Not Taken" yang dikarang Robert Frost.
Hahahahaha...
Aku jumpe mak aku, tanya dia nape buat macam tu.
Mak aku cakap:
"Sekolah tu jauhlah..."
Aku pun pasrah coz malas nak bertekak dengan mak.
Entah macam mana, aku penah dapat offer untuk blaja kat Sekolah Menengah Agama Persekutuan Labu kat Negeri Sembilan.
Time tu, abah dah macam nak bagi pegi.
Siap tanya kat aku lagi:
"Abang nak pegi tak? Kalo betol-betol nak pegi, baik pikir cepat!"
Aku dah excited coz memang nak sangat belajar jauh.
Tapi last-last, mak aku cakap:
"Tak payahlah abang. Sekolah tu jauh..."
Macam nak pengsan bile mak aku cakap macam tu.
Yang kat Sarawak pun, dia cakap jauh. Dapat semenanjung pun dia cakap jauh!!! Pengsan aku!!!
Last-last, aku dok menapak kat bumi Sarawak tercinta sampai Form 5.
Tup.. tup.. tup...
Dapat offer maktab kat Penang.
Dan sekarang, tengah on the way nak jadi cikgu.
Cuba korang pikir, kalo mak aku lepaskan aku pegi sekolah agama time tu, agak-agak aku amek course ape ek sekarang?

Hello Dik..
You might have become a Gedik Ustaz who would be loved by your students, I know for sure! Because You would have most probably met me at the sekolah agama too! hahahahah
By the way, I don't quite agree with you last statement where you said, "p/s: Once you choose that road, u can't go back anymore. So, make a wise choice"
I believe that life experiences will teach you to see if you can go back. Not everyone is as luck as you are to be able to make 'wise' decision to be who you are today. Some go thru times where they made 'the wrong decision' (as you put it) but eventually they go back and move the on the path that was 'meant' for them! so, i think it's the experience in the 'wrong path' that should guide us, not much of 'the wrong path' itself.
happy to hear that a teacher-in-heart to meet the 'hard' is in the making!
xmungkin ko jadi ustaz.hahaha
gambar tu diHDRkan ye Shari? cantik tu!
Tak kisahlaa jadi apa asalkan jadi org yg paling berguna dan berjasa utk kebahagiaan kedua ibubapa kita ^_^
